Sportsman, Street Stocks, & Stadium Stocks also featured on Saturday’s racing schedule!

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (August 3, 2026) – Week 16 of the 2026 racing season at Bowman Gray Stadium will be a top shelf Saturday night. Red Oak Brewery returns for the ever-popular $2 Ladies Night, welcoming all female fans into the gates for a discounted price. The Brad’s Golf Cars Modified Division gears up for a marathon 100-lap race around The Madhouse, rescheduled from August 1. Sportsman, Stadium Stocks, and Street Stocks are all back in full force too, as their championship seasons all start to wind down. One lucky fan in attendance will also win a Racing Electronics scanner pack giveaway.
This week’s Bowman Gray Stadium lineup includes: 20 laps for the QRC HVAC & Refrigeration Street Stocks and one or two 15-lap features for the Q104.1 Stadium Stock Division depending on car count. The Modifieds will host their fifth and final 100-lap race of the season. The Law Offices of John Barrow Sportsman division are also holding Twin-20 lap events.
Points battles remain alive and well in all four series, with a few contenders still in striking distance. Burt Myers took home a fourth Modified win of 2026 two weeks ago, extending his points lead to 24 over Tim Brown. Title rival Brown and his No. 83 still eye a 150th career pole position this week as well. The last 100-lap race for the Modifieds saw 35 cars show up on track property for 27 starting spots. Modifieds will also feature the final Fans’ Challenge of 2026. The four fastest drivers from qualifying can choose to start in the rear and will split a $9,000 cash bonus if they earn a top four finish.
Law Offices of John Barrow Sportsman contenders are now eight points apart. Their most recent winner Billy Gregg took the points lead back from Justin Taylor.
QRC HVAC & Refrigeration Street Stocks remain the biggest margin for any current title battle at Bowman Gray Stadium, where Brad Lewis is now 50 markers up on Connor Keaton. Lewis’ lights out consistency was on display again in week 14, finishing fifth in the No. 16, not far behind Keaton in second.
Q104.1 Stadium Stocks’ championship battle is still wide open as well. Stephen Sanders and Chuck Wall both enter Saturday only 10 points apart. Brad Mickalowski and Brandon Brendle are both tied for third in points.
One fan in the stands on Saturday will also go home with a Racing Electronics scanner pack. Giveaway entries can be found at any ticket gate and turned into the south gate’s program sellers.
For those fans who were at last week’s rainout, ladies’ tickets can be redeemed at next week’s race, Saturday, August 15. All other tickets purchased at the gate can be redeemed this Saturday, August 8. All online ticket purchases will be credited to the fans’ accounts.
Weekly racing kicks off Saturday with the first green flag set for 8 p.m. ET. Parking is always free, with adult tickets $15 children tickets ages 6-11 are $2, and children 5 and under get in for free. For Ladies’ Night, all female fans will get in the gates for only $2.
