FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (July 23, 2026) – Week 15 of the 2026 racing season at Bowman Gray Stadium will be a Saturday night to remember. The Sportsman Division is gearing up for a marathon 100-lap race around The Madhouse in the Groundworks 100, on top of Crown Vics making a third appearance this season at the Stadium. Modifieds, Stadium Stocks, and Street Stocks are all back in full force too, for the next pages in their championship quests.

Bowman Gray Stadium’s lineup this week includes: 20 laps for the QRC HVAC & Refrigeration Street Stocks and one or two 15-lap features for the Q104.1 Stadium Stock Division depending on car count. The Brad’s Golf Cars Modifieds will host another Twin-25 Lap night, as well as the century mark for the Law Offices of John Barrow Sportsman division in the Groundworks 100. The night will also cap off with 20 laps for the Crown Vic Outlaw Super Series. Bowman Gray Stadium veteran Burt Myers and former Modified driver Jonathan ‘Jon Boy’ Brown will both make guest showings in the Crown Vic race. The Groundworks 100 will also be stopped at halfway for a skydiving presentation from the Special Forces Association Parachute Team.

Points battles remain alive and well in all four series, with a bit of separation after last week. Burt Myers took a third Modified win of the season to extend his points lead to 18 over Tim Brown. Title rival Brown and his No. 83 still eye a 150th career pole position this week as well.

Law Offices of John Barrow Sportsman contenders are now only two points apart. Justin Taylor currently leads Billy Gregg in a near-dead heat their standings.

QRC HVAC & Refrigeration Street Stocks remain the biggest margin for any current title battle at Bowman Gray Stadium, where Brad Lewis is now 56 markers up on Connor Keaton. Lewis’ lights out consistency was on display again last week, finishing fourth in the No. 16 and ahead of Keaton in eighth.

Q104.1 Stadium Stocks’ championship battle is still wide open as well. Stephen Sanders and Chuck Wall both enter week 14 only 12 points apart, with Brad Micalowski and Zak Taylor tied for third only 16 points back. Wall beat the three other contenders last week by finishing second and hopes to ride this momentum with another breakout run.
